EDDD 17 – All I Want – Talent

It’s Day Two of “All I Want”!

Whether it be for Christmas, or for whatever you do or don’t celebrate, what I’d like to know today is, if you could be blessed with the natural-born talent to do anything, what would it be?

I’ve always wished I could play the guitar, but not JUST play – anyone can learn. I’d love to be able to play with the passion of Brian May of Queen, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Eddie Van Halen; the list goes on and on. Talent beyond compare. Even to play the piano like Schroeder, in the Peanuts cartoon, would be amazing!

Now it’s your turn. If you could do anything really really well – so well that people would swoon – what would it be?

Blog post of December 17th, in honour of Every Damn Day December. Check it out!

Author: Linda G. Hill

There's a writer in here, clawing her way out.

  2. I would like to play piano like Richard Clayderman. I love the way he play “Ballade pour Adeline” . It’s not only a wish because I start to learn to play piano and I am determined to make this wish a reality.

  3. I’d love to draw and paint beautiful images, I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler or a professional dancer; got the desire but to old to make it a reality except, in my dreams!

  5. Confectioner? Play any instrument? Sew from a pattern, or better yet, create patterns? I do not know. I suppose I’m not into making people swoon? lol

  7. I’m your private dancer … *nav in spandex*
A dancer for money… *nav prances about the living room*
I’ll do what you want me to do… *wheeze, gasp, keel over*

Have rhythm? Sing in more than one note?

    • Haha! I haven’t seen your picture, but somehow I doubt you look much like Tina Turner. I’d stick to Rick Emmett if I were you. 😀

Thanks for the laugh, Nav, and for sharing your wish. 😀

  8. To be a quick and charismatic speaker. I can be witty as a bard if you give me enough time to think but too many times I’ve had inspired quips and jabs that I’m just “Gah, that would have killed in that moment, but alas it has passed like wind from my…” well, you get the idea…

  15. A moneyed sketcher. Then I would travel the world with my notebook, and draw etchings rather than snap photos.

  17. Making love. Then I could have Megan Fox. (I remain thematic!)

To write with the talent of GRRM and the speed of a Harlequin author. Could you imagine if Song of Ice and Fire released seven books in four years instead of over 20?

    • The talent of Martin with the speed of a romance novelist. So you mean like Stephen King? haha That would be awesome!

Glad to know you’re not going astray from your original ideas, my dear. 😉
