I’ve never heard Adam Lambert, but I’m thinking he must be good to fill such impressive shoes.

Soooooooooo jealous! If you don’t know Adam Lambert you will soon. He is the perfect person to fill in for Freddy Mercury … you will soon find out! 🙂

But does it include a time machine because without Freddie is it really Queen?

I’m going as much to see Brian as I would to see Freddie, even if he was still alive. No, it’s not the same. But when I went to see them in 2006, there were parts of the concert that were so touching that I cried. I wouldn’t miss that again for the world…

heh. My husband thinks our dishwasher must be the reincarnated soul of Freddie because when we turn it on it has the same beat as We Will Rock You.
Have fun! =D I am sure you will.

OK, Linda G, I think you are in for a very big time. Not Freddy big, but big-big. Adam was runner-up to Kris Allen in season 8 of ‘American Idol,’ but most folks think he should have won. He, like the dearly missed Mr. Mercury, is a theatrical front man and singer. Enjoy the show!

I saw them with Paul Rogers a few years back, and that was a great show. If Adam has anything like the pipes Paul does, I’m sure it’ll be great.
Thanks, Mark!

I saw Paul Rogers with Bad Company at Woodstock II in 1984 in Saugerties. Awesome show that was, too. Dude can bring it. Have fun hearing Adam, Linda G.

He is a great singer- I am curious to see how he does as well. You obviously can’t top the original but hopefully he’s the the perfect second best.

No one is better than the late, great Freddie, it’s true. We’ll see how Lambert stacks up. 🙂 Thanks for the comment, Jorda. 😀

Have a blast! I think there’s some stuff on you tube of Adam with Queen.
Hope it’s a great show.

Nice! Adam Lambert is amazing. Such talent and a bigger than life personality. He’s done really well since American Idol (don’t think he won either).

Not sure what I think about that, but I’m biased. Very few people compare to Queen.

True. I did see them with Paul Rogers in 2006 – not quite the same, but so worth it just to be in the same room as Brian May. I’ll be sitting stage left again 😀
