Good list! I was happy to wake today and find that my book promo was paying off. It’s a grueling business and both time-consuming and costly to venture into new advertising sites, wondering if they are worth the money. 🙂

Hello Linda. You are spot on with your list. Do you think you will do Camp Nano? I wanted to say hello again because I have been absent for a time. You were also kind enough to follow one of my blogs, which I moved to a new domain – http://clearlywriting.com/
I am back in business, so to speak. The module for the professional writing course I am taking is all about social media and building an online presence. Which is great because I have not had time to focus.
Be well. Happy Friday.

Your course does sound great. I’m going to need one of those I think.
Happy Friday to you too! 🙂

Sorry you have this list today 😦 as for me…today I have to say it would be men who live in some universe wherein it is somehow acceptable to pee all over the seat and floor of an aircraft lav…really? What goes through their heads? What made me smile is someone playing an RC airplane game on a tablet while riding in an airplane 🙂

Bumpy ride maybe? But yeah, being the only female in the house (I don’t even have female fish anymore to keep me company) I could write a book on floor pee.
But the game – that’s a lot of planes! Haha. 🙂

Bumpy ride is no excuse! If you miss, at least make some effort to clean up. And how can they miss so badly that the whole side wall is covered? Or that there is a puddle in the corner opposite the…uh….actual receptacle? In my line of work I use a lot of aircraft lavs, sadly 😦 I have a “ritual” to make this practice more “acceptable” to my sense of good hygeine.
About the game…yeah, I thought it was rather ironic 🙂 I hope he didn’t crash!

Where boys get their pee is a never ending conundrum. I’ll leave it at that. 😛 But yeah, they CAN clean it up.
Oooh, crashing. I didn’t think of that! Well you’re still around, so whatever he did, it didn’t affect the big picture (or the big aircraft 😛 )

Number 9 annoys me no end. The hospital I sometimes go to was voted the dirtiest hospital in Ireland three times in a row by the inspectors that visited there. And there answer to this was to reduce their accident and emergency staff by exactly 50%. And they wonder why I stay away from the place. It’s just plain old fashioned cleanliness. It’s not some new fangled invention that they are trying to come to term with. No wonder super bugs like MRSA are rampant in Irish hospitals.

Understaffed hospitals seem to be everywhere these days. And the wait times certainly get taken out on the front line workers – who are the ones who are overworked. It’s a sad state of affairs indeed.
Glad it was all made better by your kids! 🙂 Thanks for the comment, April!

1, 2, 4, and 5 piss me off all the time (although I may occasionally be guilty, myself, of 1 and 2). It never rains in San Francisco…seriously, we are in the middle of an extended drought, so forget #3. Number 6? No, no lawn and thus, no weeds. But even if I did have a lawn, the drought would have killed the grass anyway, and maybe even the weeds. 7 and 8 – I don’t know what those are, but it pisses me off that I don’t know what those are. And when it comes to hospitals (#9), I avoid those like the plague because I’m afraid if I went to one, I’d catch the plague. And email? If it doesn’t work and I don’t get any emails, how do I know that it’s not working or that I just didn’t get any emails? It’s like the forest falling in the woods and there’s no one around to hear it. Or something like that.
What made me smile today? You post. Thanks.

A few things, but I’m not allowed to mention most of them out loud. We’ll say certain people opted to work every nerve I have today. As for the meteorologist thing, I think they keep those people in a basement and only let them out at night. This way they can claim plausible deniability.
