Get Ready

Over the next few days I hope you’ll all join me in welcoming our Stream of Consciousness Saturday hosts, who have graciously accepted the task of taking over while I’m away. These three wonderful bloggers will be writing posts here at Life In Progress starting tomorrow, to introduce themselves. They’ll be coming up with the Friday prompts and visiting all of your upcoming SoCS posts during the next three weekends.

I know they’ll do a fantastic job and I hope you’ll all visit their blogs and follow them if you haven’t already.

Just so you know, I’ve pre-scheduled both of the One-Liner Wednesday posts that I’ll be absent for, as well as all of the “Second Seat on the Right” posts over at my fiction site, Inspiration in Progress, so you won’t miss a thing!

I have to say, it feels really weird to just end a post without a shout-out to someone after a month of participating in NoBloMooglyWoo and Mr. Fantastic’s Team Pepper Mystery Tour. Really awkward.

So visit your hosts when you see their posts. You’ll be happy you did!!

  9. Hey, it’s your blog, Linda, so it’s yours to do with as you please. Change it or keep it. I won’t stop reading it no matter what. I am not a fan of light text on dark backgrounds, but I would think that, if you like the sort of darker gray background you are now using, you may want to consider changing your text color to white or very pale gray. I just find the pink a bit jarring. But then again, pink anything is not exactly my cup of tea. But again, if the pink text on the darkish-gray background pleases you, in the end that’s really all that matters.

  10. Hmm. Okay, what’s with the pinkish text on the gray background? I suppose I’ll grow accustomed to it if this is what you’re going with from now on, but it was a bit of a shock the first time I saw it.

    • Didn’t you get the memo? hehe
I just thought it was time for a change. And the snowflakes weren’t showing up on the lighter background.
Should I change it back in January then? Would you like a lighter font? I’m not asking that facetiously – I know some people have a hard time with different colours.
