You know you’re tired when:
I had my toast on my plate on the kitchen table along with the tub of margarine (open) and jam (open-can’t remember what kind but it has three fruits in it), and since I was talking to my friend John about something completely unrelated to getting my toast ready, I put the jam on before the margarine.
Wow, that was not as exciting a story as I thought it would be.
I had a dream the other morning that I was at the concert I’m going to in Tokyo in November and I was stuck at the back of the hall and there were no lights on the stage (which was tucked into the corner of the room) so I missed the entire show. I think that qualifies as a nightmare, don’t you?
So I’m going to Kingston today and staying over night to get a break. The Kingston Writer’s Fest is on this weekend and I’m hoping to get tickets to an event tomorrow – if I do, I’ll try to write about the experience next week. I’m also hoping to get together for coffee this afternoon with our gracious badge-maker and host of the blog, “My Leaky Boat.” It’s gonna be fun!
Now I’m off to wash all my sheets and blankets – the cat peed on my bed sometime yesterday. Luckily it’s a nice day out, so it should all dry on the line.
See you on the flipside!

Oh jam before butter…hmmm, I usually just put jam though but the cat is not so much fun. I had one cat when I lived in Toronto who would pee smack in the middle of MY bed if I had company and he felt neglected:(

I had a dream I got stuck in the stream of consciousness for September of last year and totally missed today’s prompt. Except it wasn’t a dream! It really happened and I wrote from the prompt of Sept 2014! Again. Thank you to Joanne Corey from https://topofjcsmind.wordpress.com/ for cluing me in like telling me I have spinach stuck in my teeth.

Ahhh, the old jam before the butter trick, eh? I’m a cheese man myself – I actually had a neighbor that is going away for a while, drop off a bunch of food to me that he couldn’t use. There was a full loaf of raisin bread in there and I’ve been eating raisin bread and cheese all day – Yum! Raisin bread is too expensive for me to buy normally, so it’s a treat. Have a great trip to Kingston Linda!

Toast and peanut butter here:) It was awesome meeting up with you Linda, funny thing too, I got to work and discovered that I had my Saturdays mixed up, so I got to turn right back around and come home. It was a good finish to a pleasant afternoon 🙂

I love peanut butter but it doesn’t love me. I won’t go into detail. 😛
It was great meeting you too! Glad you didn’t have to work half the night. 😀

I don’t know which is worse, the pee on the bed or the jam before the margarine. I’ve been on a toast kick lately — butter and apricot jam 😀

Strange – I go through periods where I’ll have only one thing day in and day out for breakfast. Then one day I’ll decide I want something else and it usually takes me about a week, but I’ll switch and go on another kick.
The pee on the bed was far worse. I have lotsa bread but only one mattress. 😛
