Just Jot It Jan 15 – Mercy

Hey! I almost didn’t make it here today. I’ve been working on this project I landed last week, editing a 150,000-word novel by the end of February, which means I have to get through 25K words a week. I’m absolutely loving the work, but mercy, does it necessitate a lot of concentration on the screen! I have to keep taking eyeball breaks.

This post is going to be very short, and it may not be sweet, but I should be back tomorrow to get caught up with everything I missed over the weekend.

Hope all is well out there in blogland!

  7. I’m taking a major revision class, because that’s the current challenge for me. I know what you mean about the focus. With a week of going here and there, doing this and that, I set it mostly aside for the interim. But tomorrow I intend to stay home all day and dive in!

May mercy keep your eyes and mind sharp! =D

      • It has been! A lot of catching up and maintenance kinds of things. No fiction writing, but, if I don’t get to a bit of that tonight, it will be a focus for tomorrow.

One thing I didn’t get to yet is a guest post. It may need to wait till tomorrow, since I only have a vague idea of what I want to say, and I’m getting tired.

        • No problem. Whenever you’re ready. 🙂 Glad to hear you got some catching up done. That’s a huge stress reliever all by itself. 🙂

          • I love ticking things off my goals list. After a very busy week, it’s nice to have some basically uncharted time ahead of me to do things that required too much time and/or focus for what was available last week.

I figure I’ll sleep on the post, and write it soon after waking.
