So much for taking time today to get caught up on blogging; this full-time work thing is crazy, isn’t it? I haven’t had a “real” job in sixteen years, and even then, I was running my own business. The last time I worked for someone who wasn’t me was in 1995. I think.
Even though I haven’t “worked” in more than 20 years, I have worked. My kids were born in ’94, ’95, and ’00 – one might argue that just being a mom is work. But past that, I push myself to do more. Writing, blogging, and taking courses to improve my skills have kept me on my toes for quite a few years now.
What about me is impenetrable? Probably my hard-headedness when it comes to saying anything but, Sure! I can do it! Just pile it all on. My head is as hard as my plate is large. And nothing is going slow me down… until they both overflow that is. So if you see my brains leaking out of my ears, you’ll know I’ve reached my penetration limit.
At the rate I’m going, it won’t be long.
Thanks to Blog Woman!!! for our prompt of the day, “impenetrable.” You can find her here: https://blog-woman.com/
And a special thank you to Shan, for the wonderful job she’s doing as host. Let’s hear it for Shan! 😀 https://shanjeniah.com/about/

Being a mum is certainly a hard enough job on its own. Throw in blogging and writing and, the head starts to expand, finally chuck in the editing and it’s going to blow!!!
I admire your ability to push the boundaries and stay in one piece!!! 🙂

I’ll certainly try! I do have super glue standing by in case something falls off though. 😉

Raising children is a full-time job, and the hardest I’ve ever had. (Although the dress code is definitely advantageous…)
If your brains start coming out of your ears, I do hope you’ll stop everything and go to the doctor! And wear a hat, no one wants to see that!

I already have a hat and a bucket ready. I’m hoping if I catch enough of my brains and keep all the cells in one place, I can give them the editing. Then I’ll be able to colour my new adult colouring-calendar instead! 😀

Mom-ing is full time work. I hope you get everything sorted out and still find time to leak something onto the page(s).

Thanks, Dan. Having a snow day again today, so Mom-ing is the order of the day. 😛

Also known as ‘Super Mum’! We all think we can fit that extra task in, because we have always been expected to! But it’s important to know our limits too!

Unfortunately most of the time we find our limits when we reach them… Isn’t that true? 😛

Ah, another member of the stubborn club. I so know what you mean there.
Hopefully, you can stop for a few minutes here and there, to avoid the brain-ear leakage thing….which sounds counter-productive.

Haha! Yeah, scooping up gray matter just adds to the work load. 😉

Take care of yourself, Linda! I still need you. Hahaha! How selfish of me.

That’s good; it would be a horrible song to have stuck in your head if you didn’t like it. 😛
