I was walking around my neighbourhood a couple of weeks ago when I came across this.
Someone with a fixation on coming and going? Enchanted doors to another world, perhaps? Whatever it is, I’m assuming they love doors.
Here’s some more that are actually attached to a house.
I do love my neighbourhood.
This post is inspired by the great Norm Frampton. You can find his original Thursday Doors post here: https://miscellaneousmusingsofamiddleagedmind.wordpress.com/2017/06/29/thursday-doors-june-29-2017/ Join in – it’s fun!

My new Gothic paranormal romance novel, The Magician’s Curse is available now as an ebook or in paperback.
When Herman Anderson leaves home to make a better life for herself, she doesn’t expect to meet a tall, dark stranger with whom she’ll fall hopelessly in love.
Charming and mysterious, Stephen Dagmar is a stage magician seeking an assistant. The moment he sets eyes on Herman, he knows she’s the one. He brings her home to his Victorian mansion where they embark upon an extravagant romance. Yet a shadow hangs over their love. Will the curse on his family end Stephen and Herman’s happily ever after, before it really begins?
Amidst lace and leather, innocence and debauchery, The Magician’s Curse begins the Gothic tale of The Great Dagmaru. Magic and romance await.
You can get the Kindle version or the paperback of The Magician’s Curse by clicking the following links: Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Amazon Australia, or Amazon where ever else you are in the world. You can also get it on Kobo worldwide here.

Isn’t it clever? And to get five doors all in the same picture for Thursday Doors was a bonus. 😀

I love the collection of doors, provably because I am so nosy and it is always fun to think what may originally have been behind them!
You have a pretty neighbourhood Linda, I would love it too! 🙂

That’s my fascination with doors too. Doors and ruins are my thing.
I’d love to live in one of the big old houses in my neighbourhood. The upkeep must be horrendous though. Lovely to look at! 😀

Now I know what to do with all the spare doors left over from our house renovation. I’ll make a porch with them, lol.

Of course there is Narnia behind there, open only to a select few though! 🙂

Isn’t that funny! It does make you stop and think though how endlessly creative people are. Not only the person who decided to collect and arrange all these old doors, but now, everyone wondering at what they could be. I love the thought of them being doors into other worlds, it has a touch of Narnia to it!

Narnia was the first thing that came to my mind too. 🙂 So thought-provoking.

That’s a great use of old doors. I’m seeing more and more doors being used in decorative ways. Maybe it’s a trend.

I hope so. Since I started doing this prompt, I’ve noticed a lot of photo books of doors. I suppose it’s kind of like buying a new car. Suddenly you start seeing them on the road, whereas you never noticed them before you were in one. 😛
