#ThursdayDoors – Doors ‘n’ Cats

Walking around my neighbourhood, I’ve seen a curious trend; the combination of doors and cats. I’d like to share with you my findings to date.

Enjoy.

Well-camouflaged and snoozin’

Checking me out.

Waiting to get in.

Enjoying the fresh air.

Watching a squirrel and wishing he was outside.

This post is brought to you by the Thursday Doors prompt from the great Canadian photographer, Norm Frampton. Please visit his post here https://miscellaneousmusingsofamiddleagedmind.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/thursday-doors-july-13-2017/ and you, too, can join in the doorish fun!

  1. What a lovely neighborhood u live in… and the cats – meow – great theme – the first photo is my fav here – partly because of the jagged lighter colored bricks outlining the door trim – 😉

  7. Obviously those cats are spies and should be caught and interrogated. 🤔👮🏽

  8. You and I have similar tastes in urban neighbourhoods – and cats. Love this post. 🙂

  9. Of course! Cats have a tendency to find corners around the doors to curl up. Your neighborhood has some real gems 😀

  10. Cats and doors do seem to go quote well together. I had one once that would faithfully wait for me to come hime in the same spot by the front door. Or maybe he just wanted to be fed. 😉 Nice shots too!

  11. There are a lot of cats here, too. One seems to have taken up residence on my front porch while I was away last week. Hung out for 5 days until I fed her. Then she ate and ran. But no interesting doors to speak of.

    • We don’t really have that many cats. These were taken over the space of three weeks. 😛 But after seeing two in a row, I figured I was on to something.
Cats are weird creatures, aren’t they?

  13. They’re obviously watch cats, Linda. 🙂 I love that last house. It’s like a little cottage.

  14. Two themes in one – fun stuff Linda.
The one waiting to be let in reminds me of the old Robin Williams line, imitating a cat “Meow! Open the damn door or I’ll f*ck up your screen!”
