#JusJoJan 2018, the 9th – Coffee

It’s quite obvious I didn’t get enough today.

Not that I go there often anymoreaddi since I don’t get out much, but there was a boycott of sorts today of Tim Horton’s here in Canada. Something to do with the raise of minimum wage and them not wanting to pay for breaks or something. I don’t know. I love Tim’s, but I didn’t go there today. I wouldn’t have, anyway.

Honestly, I wish I could survive on coffee alone. But too much of it upsets my stomach, and I’m not sure it doesn’t mess with my sleep, too, if I drink it later in the evening.

However, if you’re buying, I take it with double cream, no sugar …

  1. Thanks for writing to the prompt word, ‘coffee’! Also, for giving us a chance to submit a prompt word of the day! It’s fun, this January challenge. 🙂

  2. I’m not much of a coffee drinker. I drink hot tea in the morning and ice tea all day. I only drink coffee at work (offshore), just because it’s already there. I have to use lots of sweetner and cream with it.

  3. Try decaf at night. It won’t keep you up.

  6. I don’t know anything about boycotts, but I do love a nice Tim Hortons breakfast when I get to Canada. The “Timbits” are delightful, and they go best with a nice little cup of TH coffee.

  7. If I ever drink it–black. Unless it is ‘fluffy’ iced. But both types give me headaches, hurt my tummy and make me shake. I can drink tea all day and none of those symptoms.
