#JusJoJan 2018, the 25th – Prediction

You know who I wish could make a decent prediction? The weather man. Just imagine never getting caught without an umbrella when you need one. Or a coat. Or a toothbrush for when you’re unexpectedly served something full of garlic. … oh wait. Wrong kind of prediction.

But seriously. It would be cool if the weather man could positively predict what you’re going to end up eating on any given day, wouldn’t it? You’d never have to stress over another grocery list.

Man, am I tired. Can you tell?

This silly post is is brought to you by Just Jot it January, and in particular, prompted by the word “prediction,” provided by Dar! Thank you so much, Dar! 1. I can tell, but me too.
You know what really sticks in my craw? When it’s October and it looks like Saturday will be 59 and sunny and I get all excited thinkin I’ll traipse through the woods all crisp and snappy, but then Saturday comes and it’s 67 and rainy and I’m like Nah, this book’ll do.
And then again, in January, when they predict Saturday will be 48 and sunny and by the time Saturday comes, it’s 31 and dangerous slushy?!? Weathermen are teases.
But yes, I’d like someone else, magically, to read my food moods and serve to me exactly what will hit the spot without my ever saying anything. I believe all women want this. If they don’t, we can’t be friends.

  2. I really could use a good weather prediction as my adult children are getting ready to move my oldest up here. They’re good drivers but I would relax so much more about this new thing happening in our lives. I loved your take on it! This was fun. Thanks for letting me play!
