What Day is it Anyway? Monday, March 16th, 2020

Let’s play a game of What Day is it Anyway?! Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of.

My day today so far, as of 10:51 am:

Got a phone call from Kingston General Hospital to say Alex’s echocardiogram appointment (just a checkup, nothing urgent) has been cancelled. They’ll reschedule when it’s safe to go back into a hospital.

Will go for my daily walk around the block with Alex, not touching anything except crosswalk buttons, and then only with our elbows. Will try to take some photos.

I’ve had what I think is heartburn for the last few days. Coffee seems to be making it worse … AHHHH!!!! My lifeblood!

Why I’m writing this post:

We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

I have loads of work to do, getting my books edited and written, so I may not be around too much. But I want everyone to know that you can start discussions with each other in the comments, and if you’d like to write your own “What Day is it Anyway?” post, you can link to this one. Hashtag #WDIIA.

Let’s keep in touch!

    • Oooh, I bought some apple cider vinegar for the fruit flies. What do you do with it?

      • I put a capful in ice water or juice and drink it. When I first started it, I wanted off the heartburn meds, so I did it every morning and then before my evening meal. It’s funky, you know, but honestly, I got used to it and I still drink it in something when I have hot tomato foods or spicy stuff in the evening. It works for me, but apparently not everyone, but it’s worth a shot. If you do it, you have to buy the unpasteurized kind, with “the mother” bacteria in it.

  3. I haven’t been super active here lately. But yes. Isolation is why I got on. I am about to write about it.

  9. Sounds good, Linda! My dad’s appointment was canceled today also! 😦
Lots of blogs to read, writing to do, craft projects will keep me busy for sure-as well as coloring when I have downtime. 🙂
