One-Liner Wednesday – It’s Cortisone-Shot Day!

Here’s hoping I don’t wake up after five hours of sleep feeling like my arm is in a meat grinder tomorrow!

A Halloween image for you, to remove the image of an arm in a meat-grinder from your brain:

Click for details. No, it’s not my house.

If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the “One-Liner Wednesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure. To execute a pingback, just copy the URL in the address bar on this post, and paste it somewhere in the body of your post. Your link will show up in the comments below. Please ensure that the One-Liner Wednesday you’re pinging back to is this week’s! Otherwise, no one will likely see it but me.

NOTE: Pingbacks only work from WordPress sites. If you’re self-hosted or are participating from another host, like Blogger, please leave a link to your post in the comments below.

As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a pingback from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.

Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”

The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:

1. Make it one sentence.

2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.

3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.

4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!

5. Have fun!

  14. The cortisone shot worked wonders for B. It was immediate relief. Hope you have the same experience.

  17. I believe you’ll feel 100 percent better following the cortisone shot. For me fear of the shot was worse than the actual needle. In record time the pain subsided; I could move my shoulder in the proper manner. My diagnosis: torn rotator’s cuff – advised not to lift heavy stuff overhead in the future thus the end of a weight training program for me. BOL to you – hope you find some much needed relief. 🙂

  22. I feel for you, I have to take those in my knee about every three months or so, maybe your doc can put you on Celebrex like my doc just did. I’m to give it a try for three weeks on, one week off for a month, then he will check my kidneys (since I have PKD) and make sure the drug is not hurting them.

  24. OMG those are such a hard injection and I have an incredibly strong pain threshold !!! I had one of those in my elbow and I swore never again. I have had 5 baby’s pre-epidral’s i.e. no pain relief and one of our babies were 9.11 lbs. Actually that was my first one too. That injection is brutal, I will be thinking of you sending you my blessing’s that it will be easy to take. Good Luck 🙂
