Congrats on getting to the finish. I hope it wasn’t too taxing. What are you going to do next with the book for December? That’s always how I feel when I hit the end of a sprint: what now? My life often feels a little empty because of how much of my life was devoted to writing – as sad as that sounds.

Thank you, James. 🙂 I think I’ll just leave it to rest and go back to my 2011 NaNo manuscript, to start on my 4th edit. Still plenty of work to do there. NaNo 2013 was really just to give me an excuse to leave the other one alone for a month. 😛
I do find that editing is as much if not more work than the writing, but I do know what you mean about the emptiness. That’s what the blog is here to fill though, right? 🙂

Congrats. I’m incredibly happy for you in finishing your novel. I suspect mine is a long way from being finished, but I did reach the NaNo goal and I’m so happy I’ve made it this far as I’ve got the inspiration to finish it finally! I hope you’re as joyous as I am now that your NaNo journey for 2013 is finished.
