I hope one day to experience snow and ice and berries and robins. Kookaburras and magpies, scrubby gums and shimmering heat, splendid beaches…yes, but cold? crisp air? yummy!

I remember when the Robins would return to Michigan. Many times they were hopping in the snow and you had to wonder about their abilty to guess the arrival of spring.
