One-Liner Wednesday – PSA

This weekend’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday will be a Stream of Consciousness Saturday/Sunday because of Christmas. Write your post when you have time, but try to show up on Sunday to be sure you don’t miss any posts. I’ll post the prompt for SoCSS on Friday as usual.

That is all.

If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the “One-Liner Wednesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure. To execute a pingback, just copy the URL in the address bar on this post, and paste it somewhere in the body of your post. Your link will show up in the comments below. Please ensure that the One-Liner Wednesday you’re pinging back to is this week’s! Otherwise, no one will likely see it but me.

NOTE: Pingbacks only work from WordPress sites. If you’re self-hosted or are participating from another host, like Blogger, please leave a link to your post in the comments below.

As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a pingback from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.

Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”

The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:

1. Make it one sentence.

2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.

3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.

4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!

5. Have fun!

  8. Today’s PSA? For me? Shared, just in case others need to know? “It’s WEDNESDAY….AND Christmas is Saturday! Now, get off your duff and don’t wait till last minute for doing the to-do list” – not that I am reminding myself….well, I am, but still okay…oh to heck with it – it’s Wednesday! Last 4 weeks to-do lists got it with emergencies and such and thus, if something can’t be comfortably acommplished by tomorrow sunset? So be it, I need only prioritize what to drop – LOL

      • It was wonderful…mainly because: 1. I coldly assessed the ‘to-do’ list and 2. Took others at their words said on what they really wanted and then 3. Didn’t stress out when they said, “Let’s Skip Gift Giving on the day” and then gave gifts anyways – I took over ‘some items” that I had purchased/done before the “skip it’ words were spoken by others, and then….received more than I gave, simply because others contradicted themselves last minute – Yup, telling you, because….well – I may blog about it all at some point, but to me? Low stress, low expectations, for the day, and all….and….. Not feeling guilty or regretful over a single thing – 😀

I think, after nth time of such things happening over the years? the whole famm damily ( 😀 ) may be ready to nudge towards, “if we want to do a gift, we just do, at the time, and not hang around waiting for or squirreling away for ‘THE DAY” – – I will be shipping to my brother another 2021 Christmas gift, and 2022 B-Day gift sometime today or tomorrow – and, if I had another thing to the order, just cuz?? Ta-Da! Christmas 2022 covered too – LOL

I’m a monster unleashed now! Because it was a lovely day – altogether! 😀 And look! I just blogged in your comments – but trusting you will forgive me once more! sigh –

Happy Soon to be 2022, Linda! May it not be 2020 – too! 😀
