This post is part of Just Jot it January, and the prompt word, “nature,” is brought to us by J-Dub. Check out her blog here!
I thought maybe I’d find the last picture I took outside to go with my post today.
But it’s one I’ve shared before, taken on the 10th of September.
I think I’ve been out of the house since then, but I’m not entirely sure.
This short, housebound post is part of Just Jot it January! Want to join in? Just click here to get to the prompt and drop your link. It’s fun!
Thanks again to J-Dub for the prompt!

I don’t go out all that much either Linda, now that the flu is going around, I don’t want to venture too far from home in case I catch it!

I’ve been wearing a mask everywhere I go since 2020. Not the slightest bit interested in bringing the flu home to my family.

Great pic of the heron. We often see a grey one around the lake and it has ventured as far as my back garden on occasion.

I really wish we human beings stop destroying so much in nature for our greed. We all know Nature’s fury but do not learn from our mistakes. And on a positive note, Nature’s beauty makes life more precious. And human nature remains the same across place and time.
