I haven’t had anything interesting to report on my paper route lately, so I thought I’d share with you a picture I took last year. I’m quite proud of it, considering it was taken with a crappy cell phone on the spur of the moment.
In other news, I reached a new milestone in blogging today. Thanks to Franny Stevenson I now have 400 followers! Thanks Franny, and all my other wonderful followers for making this possible! π

Beautiful photo! Love it! Hard to catch them close up and sitting still. And with the flower perfectly positioned!

It’s funny. We’ve gone from a society of people who say ‘you never have a camera when you need one,’ to one that says, ‘what do you mean you don’t have a camera?!’
haha!

True… and you would have said that to me when I first got back to the States in 2010. I bought one of those Trac Phones for 29.95 at a pharmacy in NYC. All it did was cost me for outgoing and incoming calls. Tough little thing though… I still have it and keep her charged for emergencies.

The older ones are the best ones sometimes. The one I had 3 phones ago fell apart at the seams, but I mourned the loss. They’ve been getting crappier ever since. π

Such a contrast to almost everywhere else in the world where you can get something inexpensively and it’s good quality. I think we’re going backwards.

Thank you π Crappy cell phones are surprisingly good at … um … everything but phone calls I suppose. :p

Oh, and I’m guessing that I was right. Haha! Then again, I’d recognize that post office clock anywhere (it’s not the post office anymore, is it? I haven’t been back in a loooong time). Sorry if I was giving something away you’d rather not advertise.

Haha! You were bang on, Linda! And now you know! No worries, we’re good π And yes, it isn’t a post office anymore. I think it’s a retirement home, if my wife’s right! π

Oh good, I was afraid I’d made an enemy today. π So much has changed all the way up Yonge Street, hasn’t it? I moved to that area in 1969, so you probably have no idea how much. hehe
