I wrote the guide to joining Fish Tank there. If you have problems, email me and I can help. I don’t know if FT fixed the bugs in the system yet or not, but when I joined, there were some bugs in the form and after hours of trial and error, I found a way around them. So the guide covers the “how to get around the bugs” process.
How I wish I could join you for this year for a BT trip. But too many expenditures and I don’t think I can raise enough $$ for it in time.
Yeah, I don’t know whether to try the smaller shows instead of the big one either…but well, I am hoping to do a mix of both by trying Dec/Jan. 😀
Don’t know what the chances are for actually meeting anyone of them though whether big or small shows….BT doesn’t do no Meet and Greet anymore, not since their debut days ages back.
If you do make the trip, please let me know! And yep, definitely check the rentals! Pretty good deals there.

I don’t remember if I mentioned it before, but I did have some luck getting an autograph at a smaller show when I was in Japan last to see Gackt. I came this close to getting backstage, but I had a rabid fangirl with me, which I think may have swayed the decision.

Arrgh…don’t I know it, the cost of the air ticket! I am still trying to find the cheapest round trip ticket to Japan for next year end to catch my dreamt of BT concert. Think could make it for $980, round trip provided prepared to fly on Christmas day and back on 14th January. Only thing is where to stay for that long once my accommodation timeshare runs out???? 😀

I guess you’ll have to figure out which is more expensive – staying longer and paying for a hotel room or staying less time and paying more for the flight. 😛 Are you going for sure?

Just got back into town and was really swamped. Wifi really sucks where I was staying in Vermont. And my trip is sadly not planned for this year end, its next year, 2014 that I am planning. So no idea as to which dates BT is performing as yet other then their yearly Nippon Bundokan gig around 28/29th each year.
This year end BT is actually doing 14, 21, 23 and 29 Dec dates for DIQ, so hopefully they will do that again next year. I really hope they will announce Jan dates at same time but so far they don’t seem to do so.
Found Tokyo rentals through trip advisor and those may work out for longer stay after time share accommodations are up.
Wish it was this year but don’t have enough $$$ for the trip yet, not if I want to do 2 -3 weeks for I surely am not about to settle for just one show! Want to cram as many as possible in! 😀

Yeah, I’m up in the air as to whether I’ll wait to go to a smaller live and have more of a chance to meet them in person than a big show like DIQ. But the Air Canada sale is on now! What to do, what to do…?

Look at it this way. I just got a bill for a roof repair and it was $1500.00. The trip to Japan sounds reasonable and a lot more fun.
