There’s nothing quite like pizza for breakfast. Straight out of the box in the fridge and into my mouth. And don’t tell me it’s not the right way to eat a pizza.
But… I’m a hypocrite. Although I can’t stand having someone tell me what is the right or wrong way to enjoy my food, I often tell my best friend, John, just that. I mean seriously, just because it’s not the right way for me (or most of the other people on the planet) to eat peanut butter… on a sandwich with a slice of processed cheese… should I be telling him it’s not right?
Damnit, yes! It’s wrong, plain and simple. It’s like putting ketchup in your chicken noodle soup, or eating baked beans smothered with maple syrup. (I’ll get some flack from the Quebecois on that one, particularly this time of year.)
We all have our oddities when it comes to food. What are yours?

I don’t have so many anymore, but when I was a kid I was obsessed with chips inside my sandwich (for that extra crunchy texture!) and pouring ketchup in mashed potatoes, because apparently that makes them taste like carrots. *shrug* Don’t ask me! XD

I have ketchup on french fries, so why not mashed, right? But carrots? haha I’ll have to try it sometime and get back to you. 🙂 Chips inside a sandwich sounds like a good idea too!

They’re super tasty. Sun Chips or potato chips especially. Sort of a complimentary flavor combo to chicken, like a turkey-cranberry sandwich, except salty, and crunchy, haha.

I love HOT, Salty French Fries dipped into a chocolate Sunday – Only McDonalds works 🙂
We also go through about 2 litres of tomato sauce every 7 days in my house *stares*.
I read somewhere it helps prevent cancer – I’ll go with that as justification for now.. lol

That’s a lot of tomato sauce! What do you eat it with?
There’s something quite satisfying about salty and sweet together… though I’m not sure I’d dip my fries in my hot fudge sundae… Oh what the hell. I’ll try almost (almost) anything once. 😀

Tomato Sauce – pretty much everything.
French Fries dipped in a Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae – I highly recommend it 🙂
#Yay – Let me know what you think once you get around to trying it out 🙂

I love a cold pizza in the morning. Often with a root beer.
I try not to put my food preferences on others, but there are a few things that are just wrong, like adding sugar to an already frosted cereal, and eating pastrami with mayo, and about those things, I can’t bite my tongue.
Everything else, I just tell myself, “They’re not Italian. They don’t know any better.” 😉

I could get behind the baked beans with maple syrup. The peanut butter with cheese? He’s messing with the natural order of things. I’m a very simple food person. I like eating chunks of food. Like oh man, a huge hunk of ham? Yum.

Ketchup sandwiches. Yes i spread ketchup on white bread and eat it. Also, i use ketchup as dip for plain potato chips. And i eat peanut butter sandwiches. Just peanut butter on bread, no jelly. And i can’t stand mustard as a condiment. I never use it on the side for dipping or on anything I am eating…however i use it as cooking base for chicken. I base the chicken in mustard and then season it and the mustard holds the seasoning well.

HaHa! I prefer my pizza straight from the box in the morning after it has been sitting out on the counter all night. Hasn’t killed me yet 🙂
When I was little I hated green beans (still not a huge fan), but my grandma fried them in bacon grease (and she lived to be 96), I will only eat them like that today…with ketchup on them.

And yeah, I don’t always put the pizza in the fridge either. 😉 It’s actually better tasting at room temperature.

Fried green beans are the best. I actually do it today. Straight from the garden in an iron skillet. But just plain old crisco now. No bacon grease or lard.
