Not that I’m complaining at all, and I know I can just quit, but I feel like my blog has been filched by the A-Z Challenge. Hijacked. Pinched. Misappropriated by my need to take on the extra work of an alphabetical prompt: shanghaied by my inability to just say “no.”
But I’m having fun!
I just wonder what I’m going to do with myself when it’s all over.
Speaking of being stolen, I wonder what tomorrow’s promised snow is going to do to the flowers in my front bed.
It’s already ruined so much this year: my eaves troughs, the neighbour’s tree and fence, my little solar lamp…
Life is short. Nature, in every form, both gives and takes.

I can totally relate to the whole abduction thing. However, I also acknowledge that if I didn’t have this challenge holding me hostage, I would not have posted near the number of times I have this month. And like you, I recognize that I’ve increased the number of people I’m connecting with. Also, your SoCS has filled in the gap for me when we’re not doing the alphabet. So you are actually contributing to my habit. haha

Snow – an annoying substance that has been a visual for almost six months, gave us a 3 day ‘fake’ reprieve and has unleashed its fury once again. That is my summation. π

The crocuses will be fine. Mine used to grow right in the snow in Michigan.

Ah yes, that lovely lake-effect weather they get closer to the Great Lakes. Wouldn’t want any of that!
Thanks for the reassurance, Kristin. π

I thought of joining, but it was already on letter J. Maybe next time. That awful, untimely snow. We had the same happen here. Flowers were finally coming up, only to get buried and broken by the snow.

This challenge certainly isn’t something you’d want to try to play catch-up on. It’s a lot of work! It’s worth it though – I’ve met some pretty great people through it.
Unless it’s still coming, we didn’t get very much snow. Not enough to even give us a coating – it rained all morning so the ground was too wet. Hopefully that’ll be it!

You’ve also been blogging way more than most people in the challenge! I’ve been surprised how many times you can post in a single day… haha. I’m looking forward to May, when I can get back to my ‘real’ writing schedule, and shift back to 1-2 posts a week on my blog. π

Well that’ll give me a chance to catch up on your blog! π haha. But aside from a few days here and there, I’ve been trying to post one a day since October. It’s always my fiction blog that goes by the wayside when I’m not challenged somehow. π

I’ve finally realized that we have Sundays off for A to Z, which now adds sense to why my letters, when I jump in, aren’t aligning… and we had snow today. 41 degrees (fahrenheit) the snow came down, windy, cutting and wet – no accumulation of course because it was actually too warm for snow, but plenty of ambulance and police sirens thanks to flurries-in-the-way. Yesterday it was in the 70’s and Saturday low 80s. Absurd.

It’s a mix of rain and sleet here tonight. They say it may snow a bit. I’d be delighted to take photos of the tulips in snow tomorrow morning. Then I’ll worry about how to choose my M π

I have no idea what I’m going to do for my M. I had an M when I started the challenge but I stole it for one of my other letters somehow. π Looking forward to your tulip pics. I’m planning to try to get some interesting shots tomorrow too. π

Yeah. You would think we’re farther south than you, perhaps not by much, so why isn’t it warmer here!? I still went out in a t shirt. When asked why, I said “Because it’s spring and I refuse to give into the bullying of Mother Nature.”

I’ve heard the same comment from three people today. Personally, I’d rather not fight – it’s a losing battle. Besides, my winter boots and jacket are still near the front door. I might put my snow shovel away in July.
