Twenty-seven days in and I’m going to hit 50,000 words! NaNoWriMo is mine, two years in a row! Woohoo!
Did you participate? How’d ya do?
If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the “One-Liner Wednesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure. To execute a pingback, just copy the URL in the address bar on this post, and paste it somewhere in the body of your post. Your link will show up in the comments below. Please ensure that the One-Liner Wednesday you’re pinging back to is this week’s! Otherwise, no one will likely see it but me.
NOTE: Pingbacks only work from WordPress sites. If you’re self-hosted or are participating from another host, like Blogger, please leave a link to your post in the comments below.
As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a pingback from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.
Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”
The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:
1. Make it one sentence.
2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.
3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.
4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!
5. Have fun!

Congratulations, Linda! Making the goal is no small feat.
This year life has conspired against me and my hopes of winning NaNo. Starting a whole house remodel, which meant emptying the house of its contents and moving to a hotel, another family member moving to her first apartment, a dental procedure which left me swollen and sore for days, and an attack of the common cold, have all intruded on my writing time. I have only managed to grind out 11k words. I have 3.5 days left so I will see what I can salvage. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🦃

Congratulations, Linda! I believe I will make it, too. I am procrastinating and might be the last one over the finish line!

Good for you! I can’t imagine ever doing that, but poets generally try not to go on for that many words. 😉

Congratulations, Linda. I am 3500 short of the goal, will probably finish tomorrow. Also my second year. Fantastic therapy and I dare to say I am going to make this a daily habit. Average 15 word per minute, so two hours is absolutely doable!

Keep at it – the end is close.
Easy for me to say that. For the sixth year running, I hit the magic 50K with days to spare. Now I’m now pushing on to finish the story.
Being retired does mean, though, that time isn’t the constraint it is for many.
