SoCS & #JusJoJan the 7th – The Box

Thinking outside the box isn’t easy when you can’t get out of the box. I know this, because at times, I think of my house as my box that I rarely leave anymore.

Is that why cats get into boxes? So they feel protected and don’t have to think about what’s outside?

I’ll have to ask a cat someday.

But I mean sure, we have movies, TV, books, the internet—they all help us to escape the box and think outside of it. They’re not the same as actually living it, though.

I fear sometimes that I’m getting far too comfortable in my box. C’mon, though. I live in my PJs! Who wouldn’t be comfortable?

  1. Maybe cats know something we don’t, Linda. It’s been raining so much here, I’m liking my box.

  3. That is an interesting way of looking at how much we do stay in our house.
I’m all for comfort too, in pjs most of the time. haha 🙂

  5. Cats definitely have the answers, just ask them, lol. I’ve always said “I live in a box” (meaning I’m a bit naive and sheltered to a lot of things other people take as a matter of fact ) but I’m ok with that! Maybe I’m part cat?

  8. I move between PJ’s and sweats. Inside my box we like to be casual.
