One-Liner Wednesday – One of those days

I got up this morning to start Alex’s tube feed a little late—5:15—and thought if I poured the formula in with one hand, I could save some time and turn on the machine with my free hand … only to pour the formula all over myself and the floor. Time was not saved.

Please wish me luck for the rest of the day. *sigh*

The Escapist Coloring Club Prompt – June 1, 2021

It’s June already! And here I am with your Escapist Coloring Club prompt. If you’d like to join the club, all you have to do is post pictures of your own colouring, your kids’ colouring, or that of anyone you know and have permission to share. This is a month-long prompt, which means you have all of June to link back here.

Well, I didn’t get June’s calendar page finished. I’ve been working between twelve and sixteen hours a day, seven days a week. Something’s gotta give! Here’s the before:

And here’s the whole thing. I was going to do the other pots and flowers in blue, pink, deeper pink, and purple and all the flowers to match the pots. I think it would have been pretty.
