I find it rather frustrating that I collect so many fewer views and followers on my fiction blog than I get on my main blog. I have been told by several people that fiction and poetry isn’t as interesting to most people as real life, so if that is indeed true, then it is to be expected. I sometimes wonder, however, if it’s a WordPress thing, in that unless you’re looking for it, you just don’t notice it.
After all, if I comment on your blog post for instance, and you get an email notification, it will include only the most viewed posts on this blog – it won’t mention my fiction blog at all.
I’m wondering if everyone finds this to be the case with their secondary blogs, or if it’s a fiction/poetry thing or if, it’s the unthinkable and my fiction simply sucks?
(Please feel free to follow my fiction blog.) <— (I put that in brackets to make it feel like a subliminal suggestion.) (Did it work?)

I’m not able to read longer stories and then remember, what I did read, so I’m not the right for reading this kind now. Ordinary blog posts is enough for me at this time.
I have also heard, that it can be difficult with more than one blog.
Good luck Linda.

Thanks, Irene. ๐ I can imagine it would be difficult to read fiction in a language that’s not your own. There are so many things that just wouldn’t make sense without knowing the finer points of the language. I know a little French, a little Japanese, and a fair bit of American Sign Language, but faced with fiction in any of them, I’m lost!

Thanks Linda, but that is not my reason, even it sounds like a good excuse.
I have some bad luggage from life, as take away my concentration for things demanding longer time.
Only few days a month I’m able to read and remember from a book, without I need to repeat the book again.

Ah, I see. That’s really unfortunate. I know a few people who, for different reasons have a hard time concentrating and remembering, and I know how difficult it is for them.

Thanks for your kind mind to understand. One day I maybe will start a blog and write about all this, but for now, I’m not able or ready.

i’ve noticed other people with more than one blog, having this same issue was well. it must be a challenge to have more than one going simultaneously, though you also may be much more organized and efficient than i am )

Oh I don’t know. The other one regularly goes without a post for weeks on end. ๐ I’m trying though. ๐
Good to know I’m not alone, though I do sympathize. Thanks for letting me know ๐
