We no longer have that. It was a spring day in the upper 50’s. Heat was turned off and windows were opened. I closed everything up in case it drops but the heat hasn’t bothered to think about kicking on. I went walking with only a sweater on and no coat, no gloves, no headband. I feel a change in the air like spring fever and I know I shouldn’t believe it. Winter isn’t through with us yet.

That was cute ! We can say the first three lines but you’re lucky….you can say the fourth one as well 😉 Love the haiku and poetic lines xx

I don’t know that I feel very lucky about that fourth line. I could do with some warm right about now.
Thank you for the kind words, Lala! 😀

I’d actually like to try a winter without snow or cold, just to see if I like it 😉
Thanks for commenting, Dave 🙂

Sometimes I do miss the snow and ice, but only for a minute. Thanks for the minute.

Well, I’m in Florida finally. At 9:30 pm it was still 70 degrees. I was made to live in Florida.

Pamela, that sounds almost dreamy. I would love 70 degrees in the winter.

I want to be there for some time to experience it. I am not sure if my body can accept that much because it’s accustomed to min of 15 deg Celsius. And yes, it does look like the entering place to Narnia through the cupboard.

Really? I’ve never seen any of the movies – only read the books. But I can see it, yeah. 🙂

I vaguely remember the first movie, but the book I have has a picture of the lamppost that looks kind of like that.

The minimum temperature here reaches at about 1-2 degree Celsius and it is really hard for everyone around. I wonder how it is for you there if the scene around is such that it gives me shivers.

It was relatively mild today – only -6C. On Wednesday the wind chill was -40. To give you an idea, 30 seconds outside freezes your nose hairs and frostbite starts on exposed skin after 15 minutes. But then it gets up to 40C and even 50C with the humidity in the summer… we enjoy the between seasons. 😀
Nice to see you, Anmol! 🙂
