I wanted to do the London Eye, but it never fit into my travelling budget (or time when on business). I have no trouble with heights that will kill me if I fall from them — I was at the edge of the Twin Towers (9/11 Trade Centre), the clock tower at Parliament Hill before it was made jump-proof, etc. It’s the “I’m going fall and really hurt myself heights” that get me. No good at climbing fences or trees.
Supposed to get an Eye around here. I think I’ll start saving my money now.

Haha! I’m the same, kind of. I can climb a tree, I just can’t get back down. 😛
The big ferris wheels are fun, though the one in Tokyo was kinda scary, being that it was very windy that day. Shook the whole structure.
Best of luck getting on one someday. 😀

I will ride any roller coaster, but ferris wheels scare me to death.

You wouldn’t have wanted to be at the top of the one in Tokyo the day I was… alone and in a high wind. Here’s the post about it, with photos from the top: https://lindaghill.com/2015/03/30/tokyo-japan-my-final-day/

Were you over to London Linda? I’ve never been but would love to go.

I’ve been there six times – the first when I was 18 months old and last at New Year’s 2010. It’s a great place to visit, especially if you love history.
