Quick! I need suggestions!

At 9:45 tomorrow morning I’m getting my eyes checked. That means I won’t be able to see properly for most of the rest of the day. How will I survive without the computer?! What will I do with my day tomorrow?!!

I need ideas!!!

  4. Perfect time to try and see if audio books has changed our views (last I remembered, you and I weren’t fond of those) šŸ™‚ and probably catch up on sleep.

  5. Spend some time in quiet meditation. Then, you can listen to your favorite music or audio books (if you have some). Meet with friends for a good talk. Treat yourself to a great dessert somewhere lovely. Just enjoy listening and touching and feeling.

  6. I was going to say sleep, but several others beat me to it. I also like the suggestion of having a friend drive you somewhere that you can be pampered. Hopefully, by the time you read this comment, you will have done one of those. Of course, if you’re reading this comment, it also means you’ve gotten your sight back, so that’s even better.

    • I ended up struggling with Audible, squinting all the way and still not getting anywhere. But I’ll know what to do for next time – either set it up long before, or make some friends. šŸ˜‰

    • Haha! It would take me a week to figure out how to do such a thing. I have to go back to the eye doctor in three weeks though, so I’ll keep it in mind. šŸ˜› šŸ˜‰

  15. All of my novels are available on audiobook, and my narrator does a great job. At the moment, though I am listening to Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files series, which is read by James Marstars, who played Spike on Buffy. He is amazing with voices.

I get migraines and it often hurts to read with my eyes, so I do almost all of my pleasure reading on audiobook these days.

    • Actually, I still haven’t read the last of the series, so that’s a good idea. I’ve even bought it already. šŸ˜€ I’ve heard of the Dresden Files but I know nothing of the details. I’ll look those up too – thanks for the suggestions, Misha. šŸ˜€

  16. Put on some music for a change: Smetna’s The Moldau Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, … lots of great classicals to sooth the mind and tweek the imagination all the way from riding over the steppes with the Cossaks to drifting down the river. I never get bored!
