MY REVIEW
I love books like this one and as soon as I saw the blurb I knew it would be a book Iād want to read, and hopefully enjoy!Ā Well I certainly enjoyed it!!
Thanks so much to Steph of Steph’s Book Blog for the review!
While the first book tended to be a little on the sweeter side, the story takes a much darker turn in the second book. It was for this reason I didnāt categorize āThe Magicianās Curseā as YA. I hope to release Book Two, āThe Magicianās Blood,ā next month. š
Don’t forget, āThe Magicianās Curseā is on sale right now for 99 cents/99p, down from $2.99, for the duration of this Blog Tour.

Hosted by the lovely Anne Cater, my blog tour kicked off yesterday with a somewhat rough beginning. The first blogger on the tour, whose name happens to be Linda, didn’t review The Magician’s Curse because, I’m assuming, she wasn’t enjoying it. Which is fair–not everyone will. Yet she was kind enough to stick to her promise and promote it with a spotlight anyway. You can find her blog post here. Thank you, Linda!
Then today, the blogger who was supposed to review my book disappeared! I swear it had nothing to do with the magic in my book. Stephen Dagmar simply wouldn’t play that sort of a trick. However, another kind soul who is associated with Anne picked up the spot and promoted my book. Her name is Ali, and you can find her blog here. Thanks so much, Ali!
Which brings us to tomorrow; I’m almost afraid to say there will be a review of my book. Is Mercury in retrograde by any chance?
Please stop by and see what happens!
Oh, and by the way, The Magician’s Curse is on sale. From now until the end of my blog tour on May 9th, you can pick up the e-book for a special low price of 99Ā¢ at Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Amazon Australia, and Kobo.
I’m so happy to announce my new review on NetGalley. Not only is it a five-star review, it’s from the incredibly talented author, Carrie Rubin!
Here’s what she says about The Magician’s Curse on Amazon, Goodreads, and NetGalley:
A magician with special powers struggles with a curse that’s been in his family for generations. The main character, an almost 18-year-old girl who falls in love with him, has her own life turned upside down as she navigates his strange world.
It’s more romance-heavy than I typically read, but the unveiling of the mysterious magician’s story kept me turning the pages. The plot is well-paced and the characters are engaging. The book comes to a satisfying conclusion but also sets up the stage for book two. All in all an enjoyable read.
Thanks to NetGalley and the author for a free copy.
Thank you so much, Carrie for your enthusiastic review.
If you’d like to pick up my *award-winning novel, The Magician’s Curse, for free, it’s available until the end of the month on NetGalley. Please enjoy it!
On September 23rd, just over a month ago, I announced that until October 31st I would give all the proceeds from my books as donations to those in need after the hurricanes. I was hoping to raise loads of money; unfortunately I only managed about $18.00.
I’ve decided, therefore, to give all of the money to the Red Cross, to help the people of Puerto Rico. It’s not much–yet. But there are still two days to go. So in a last-ditch attempt to give aid where it’s needed, I pledge to match all the proceeds from my books sold until October 31st, 2017, at 11:59pm, with my own money.* That means if you buy All Good Stories, $o.70 will go to charity. For the e-book version of The Magician’s Curse, $4.20 will be donated, and for the paperback of the same title, you’ll be donating $12.50 between you and me for each book. Please let me know if you buy a paperback–it takes Createspace three days to let me know I’ve sold one.
I’m strapped for money myself, but I know there are people out there who need what I have more than I do. There are things I can go without–they’re hanging on by a thinner thread than mine. However, I have faith that the universe will provide me with whatever I need. So what do you say? Shall we do this?
Here, again, is all the info about the books with links. Please share far and wide. Thank you for your time and your generosity.

We cannot choose who we love⦠So what happens if the one we love is bound by an ancient curse? Do we watch, walk away or do we become a part of the abomination?
This story by Linda Hill is about a Magician. But do not cast that ward of suspicion yet. For it is The Great Dagmaru, the magician himself, despite all his magic who is powerless before an ancient curse. But is the magician as blameless as you would like him to be?
In this day and age dominated by shape shifters, vampires, and werewolves the very premise of this book makes it a rare find.
If the character of the Magician seems too perfect, too flawless making you withhold your attachment there is someone for just for you dear reader- you might want to make your own and her name is Herman (yes she is a girlā¦
