Memories. They go back, if we’re lucky, to our early childhood. I remember waking up in the summer to hear my dad mowing the grass, or heading out to play golf. I remember playing with Barbies – I had this really cool miniature floor lamp that plugged in to a battery. I’d set up a living room in the 18″x18″x18″ cupboard in my parents’ coffee table for my dolls and turn on the light and close the door. Now that was exciting for about 30 seconds.
One of my earliest memories of television though, apart from the show “Laugh-In,” is a trailer for a movie, called What Do You Say To A Naked Lady? Thanks to Youtube, I can revisit that disturbing memory.
Allow me to share it with you:
What’s your earliest memory, disturbing or otherwise?

Ghouls, demons, witches, and such running wild in the streets while I watched the news and wondered why the end of times wasn’t being broadcast is my earliest memory. It was my first Halloween awareness. Odd how events affect your life. I turned out to be a reporter…and living in Salem Ma.

Haha! Yes, I can see how something like that would affect your life, and did. Thanks for sharing that, Anthony. 🙂

My earliest memory is laying in my pram in the back garden looking up at the sun canopy and I remember hearing the pigeons cooing ! ( The man next door kept racing pigeons) I can also remember being wrapped up all warm and snugly in the pram with the hood up and then mum taking me out in the rain! Sorry they are not as exciting! xxxxxxx

A tumble weed making it’s way across a dirt road. That’s my earliest memory. Weird.

I think I’d remember a tumble weed too – I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in real life. 🙂
Interesting the things that make an impression on our little minds, isn’t it?

It probably wasn’t my earliest TV viewing, but I remember watching man walk on the moon. I must have grown bored because my father gave me a clip on the head for not paying due attention. I think I wanted to play Barbies.

That man at the end was just darn creepy!
Earliest tv memory was sneaking out behind my grandmother’s recliner chair and watching Number 96. (You might have to google that one lol)

I did have to google it – seems it only aired in Australia. Did you get caught?
Yeah, there were a couple of guys in that video that were a bit iffy… 😉

I almost hate to admit , but my earliest memory of TV was Milton Berle. When he dressed in drag is scared the bejesus out of me.
