One-Liner Wednesday – Concentration

That awkward moment when you’re concentrating really hard on making the bed until you realize that all three of you are sticking your tongues out but you’re the only one without ice cream.

First, ice cream that tastes like laundry detergent? You should try some Ben & Jerry’s. Yum. Second, are Dora and Boots human, feline, or canine? I figure that if they should have been exploring, they aren’t your kids, but maybe I’m wrong. Maybe you did name your kids Dora and Boots, not that there’s anything wrong with those names…if they’re cats.

And finally, thank you for your thoughtful answers to my questions.

First, my laundry might taste better if I washed it in, for instance, chocolate, but I doubt the benefits of yummy laundry would outweigh the subsequent need for extermination of the inevitable household pests. I have, as a matter of fact, tried Ben and Jerry’s but I prefer Haagen Dazs. Thank you however for the recommendation. Second, Dora is questionably human, though I don’t personally understand how her neck supports her enormous head, and Boots is a primate of the simian infra order. In other words, he/she is a monkey. I wouldn’t even name my cats Dora and Boots.

And finally, thank you for your thoughtful responses to my answers to your questions. 🙂

Okay, let me think about this. First, does it really take that much concentration to make the bed? Second, does it really take three people to make the bed? Third, why would two people be eating ice cream while making a bed? Forth, why were you sticking your tongue out? And fifth, why were you the only one without ice cream?

First, apparently it takes just enough concentration to make a bed that I didn’t realize I had my tongue stuck out. Second, when you’re making a bed with Dora and Boots, yes, it does take three. Third, I have no idea why they’re eating ice cream instead of exploring like they’re supposed to. Maybe it’s a union issue. Fourth, see “First.” And Fifth, the ice cream is rather fluffy and tastes like laundry detergent. I’ll pass.
Thank you for your thoughtful questions. 🙂
