Out walking with Alex the other evening, he spied a rabbit and asked me to take a picture. It’s cute, but I’m more interested in the strange light shining on the house next door. Yes, the sun was going down and that’s a west-facing wall, but the two houses are the same size in depth. Weird.
If you would like to participate in this prompt, feel free to use the “One-Liner Wednesday” title in your post, and if you do, you can ping back here to help your blog get more exposure. To execute a pingback, just copy the URL in the address bar on this post, and paste it somewhere in the body of your post. Your link will show up in the comments below. Please ensure that the One-Liner Wednesday you’re pinging back to is this week’s! Otherwise, no one will likely see it but me.
NOTE: Pingbacks only work from WordPress sites. If you’re self-hosted or are participating from another host, like Blogger, please leave a link to your post in the comments below.
As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a pingback from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.
Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”
The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:
1. Make it one sentence.
2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.
3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.
4. Add our lovely new badge to your post for extra exposure!
5. Have fun!

Thanks, Christine! It didn’t work because you linked to the entire category, not my prompt post. 🙂 No problem, though. Thanks for checking and doing it manually!

Yes, I’m sure it’s the sun reflecting off of something else. It’s definitely not a poltergeist waiting to ambush the family that lives in the house. Or it could be.

Interesting photo! I like the little rabbit…so cute!
The burst of light on the house is a bit strange, since the rest of the house is mostly in the shadow of the other house. Actually, I didn’t even notice the bright light, but what caught my attention was in the window of the blue house…a ghostly looking owl! 🙂

Love it! I almost couldn’t see the rabbit — I thought the rabbit was like a ghost caught on camera — invisible! lol Here’s my one-liner: http://marianallen.com/2018/07/return-trip-1linerweds/

I like getting pictures of bunnies and strange bits of light. These are both good. I always tend to guess there’s something weird happening. Cue the X-Files theme.

Fascinating picture. It does look ghostly, but I enlarged it and it’s the sun shining through the leaves and branches of a tree and being reflected off the brick and window of a clearly haunted house.

By the way, my pingback posted early so when you click on it, it says that the post can’t be found. I’ll repost it tomorrow morning and I hope it will link to it then.
