What Day is it Anyway? Friday, May 1st, 2020

My day today so far–7:05pm:

And just like that, the heartburn is gone. It’s gotta be stress.

The only thing I’ve done that’s picture-worthy today … well, even that I didn’t do today. I took some photos for the Escapist Coloring Club, for when I post the prompt. Which I promise I’ll try to post later.

I did go for a walk with Alex today, but it was dull and damp outside, and nothing really inspired me. It’s supposed to be gorgeous outside tomorrow, so hopefully the crowds on the sidewalks and up the quiet street we usually take won’t be heavy. In some of the bigger cities, they’ve closed smaller streets for the pedestrians. Not here, though.

I feel sorry for those who can’t get out for walks at all, and I’m grateful I still can.

Why I’m writing this post:

Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress and all over the Internet as well, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

I want everyone to know that you can start discussions with each other in the comments, and if you’d like to write your own “What Day is it Anyway?” post, you can link to this one. Hashtag #WDIIA.

Let’s keep in touch!
