The following sign is on a route which has little pedestrian traffic and is written to target drivers:
All two sentences of it.
…. Seriously?
Or perhaps they should just save energy and put the target on the bumper of the car you’re tailgating while you’re trying to read the stupid sign!

You would not believe some of the signs I see how here on the highways! Well, you probably would. LOL!!!

Haha! Yeah, I probably would. My best friend has been driving a truck (mostly local but some long haul) for 20+ years, so I’ve heard my share of stories.

Is that better or worse than getting a random text about the dangers of texting while driving?

Worse. The ad was sponsored by the cops.

Yes, right? But then how can they prove it? You don’t have a phone in your hand. Now if it had been sponsored by a local body shop…

I still have to wonder how many people would get the joke. Obviously whoever had the obliviousness to put the sign up in the first place didn’t get it.

I’ve seen billboards around here and Florida about the dangers of using your cellphone while driving. It’s a bizarre tactic since it comes off as hypocritical.

Unbelieveable! I find the billboard signs that change as you drive by a terrible distraction. You don’t get to read it before it changes to something else and you just sort of incidentally find yourself looking twice, or pissed because you didn’t catch the entirety of what it said before it changed.

The prerequisite, apparently, is cluelessness. There’s a statistician somewhere banging his head against a desk because they can’t figure out why, suddenly, there are so many accidents in front of the Wellness Centre.
