He’s still in hospital. He had two hours of sleep last night and one more hour when I arrived at the hospital this morning at 4:00am, because I made him lay down.
He’s still on his feet.
Total sleep since Sunday (01/13) morning: four hours. It is now Tuesday, 9:40pm.
Hoping he’ll come home tomorrow. It’s boring enough here to allow him to doze off.
Thanks to all who commented on my last post. I appreciate the good thoughts and prayers, more than you know.

I’m sorry y’all are having to go through this mess again. On the plus side, maybe he’ll run into that nurse again?

Hope he gets home soon. I remember when I had pneumonia, I couldn’t lie down either. I hope once that is cleared up he will feel more like lying down.

The cough’s still there, but it’s at least not constant. Thanks, John. 🙂

The lack of sleep can’t be good for him, Linda. I always found it much easier caring for my kids at home. The hospital routine is so disruptive.

I’d much rather he not be admitted to hospital, but his heart condition makes it necessary sometimes. I’m often out of my depth at home.
And yeah, getting prodded every few hours when you’re trying to sleep is no fun!

Though hospitals are for the sick, they aren’t very conducive for getting healthy. You and Alex are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs and sleep.
