I’ve had one of these every year since I was a child.
I used to be the only one in the house with one, now every year I buy four – one each for the kids,
and one for me.
I don’t know… Apart from the obvious miniscule sugar rush each morning, there’s something inherently comforting in hunting down the right number for the date, and then popping open the little door. And if you’re lucky, the chocolates didn’t all come unglued during shipping, and they’re not all sitting down at the bottom of the packaging.
So far, so good.

Early morning sugar rush – a kid’s best friend. I’ve never had one of these calendars. Maybe next year I’ll get one for my son, if I remember.

It’s nothing compared to most cereals, or even jams for that matter. It’s fun though. 🙂

I have an old Advent calendar I use every year. It has gotten to the stage where I have to scotch tape the back, but I don’t want to let it go.

My granddaughter can’t have dairy, so my daughter got one of these and used the mold to make non-dairy chocolates in it for her. It’sf fun, even though it is just a taste…a teaser IMO.

That’s a great idea. They should make dairy free ones, though for the cost, they probably won’t be worth it. I paid 65 cents for mine 😛

Let me get this straight. It’s the black you don’t like, right?
