Killing Time

Do we kill time? Or does time kill itself?

Think about it. A moment only goes by because another moment has taken its place.

Like time is stomping on itself

stomping itself out

to get to the next and the next.

“Ticking” is just a less scary way of perceiving it.

Sweet dreams.  🙂

    A moment comes
    A moment goes
    I’m watching what
    Each moment shows
    My eyes are closed
    I’m lying still
    For suddenly
    There’s time to kill
    I feel no haste
    I wonder why?
    I’m watching time
    As time goes by

Johnny Carson once joked that a New York minute is the length of time between when the traffic light turns green and the person behind you starts to honk.

    … and now I have a Pink Floyd ear-worm!
“Ticking away the moments that make up the dull day…”
Einstein said “Time is an illusion” and Douglas Adams added “Lunchtime doubly so!”
In summary, I have no idea but I now need to dig out my Dark Side of the Moon CD 😀
