My fictional series, “Scenes from the Second Seat on the Right,” takes place entirely on a city bus in a fictional town, somewhere in Canada.  It was originally featured on my Fiction Blog, and ran for 365 consecutive days, from September 1st, 2014 to August 31st, 2015. Most installments were made up seconds after I sat down to write them. Obviously, some were more successful than others.

My goal is to re-run the now edited series here on my main blog. This is how they work:

• each daily post will be scheduled to appear on my blog at the time stated in each scene–the time and date is at the top of each scene and the next one is stated at the bottom.
• some characters only appear once, some are featured throughout on an intermittent basis. The characters’ names are in each post’s tags. To find more stories containing a character you like, click the tag. However,
• I will try to keep a running tab of ongoing characters and list them here, with either links or the scene number in which they appear.
• in the spirit of keeping the scenes realistic, there are frequent instances of foul language and adult themes. MOST of the scenes consist of conversations you might actually overhear when riding on a city bus. However,
• this series includes some fanfiction–completely unrealistic, meant only to entertain. (Apologies to Stephenie Meyer, Universal Studios, A.A. Milne and more…)
• again, with the exception of perhaps one or two posts, THIS SERIES IS FICTION. There was a bit of confusion the first time I ran the series, even though it was on my fiction blog. I expect there to be even more this time around.
• you’re going to hate some of the characters at first. Many will be redeemed.
• I will attempt to link each daily scene to this page, so if you’re looking for a certain post or want to start at the beginning or wherever you left off, check the comments below.

That’s all I can think of for now. I may update this page in the future, apart from adding the character names to it. The first of the series will appear on this blog on September 1st, 2017, at 5:00pm EST – the second will show up at 3:00pm on September 2nd, etc.
