Rocky and Arnie

 

Arnie: When I saw how your character was shot, I spilled my coffee. All down my shirt. (points to coffee stain)

Rocky: Sorry, man. I’ll wait and get off the bus with you.

Arnie: No. Go on without me. I’ll be fine.

Rocky: I can’t do that, man. You’re like a brother to me.

Arnie: I insist. Think about your family. Your daughter, she needs her drugs. Get to the Shopper’s.

Rocky: I won’t forget you, man. You’ll be at work tomorrow?

Arnie: (nods) I’ll be back.

Rocky hugs Arnie and gets off the bus.

Hashtag Poll – We Need Your Vote!

As you may know, after The Great Twitter Fiasco of last week (read about it here if you haven’t already) I decided that we need a new hashtag for One-Liner Wednesday. There were some fantastic suggestions but only four of them turned up to be already unused. (The most popular ones in the last post’s comments–#1LW and #OLW are the most used of all. OLW is for both “Operation Live Well” and “Only Living Witness,” neither of which I feel strong enough to take on … particularly the witness one…)

Just a quickie

I was on Twitter a moment ago and saw that #1lineWed is trending. I didn’t know this was a thing! I wonder if it predates my One-Liner Wednesday prompt… does anyone know? Have you heard of it before?
