Monday, December 4th, 5:00pm
Drommen and Francine

Drommen: You know you can just quit your job.

Francine: And what, have you look after me?

Drommen: Of course. You know I’ll do anything for you.

Francine: I can’t let you do that. I’ll just stay put.

Drommen: Well, at least promise me you’ll look for something else. I can tell you’re getting stressed out.

Francine: (sighs) You’re right. I look around.

Drommen takes her hand and pats it.

Francine: I don’t know what I’d do without you.

Sunday, December 3rd, 1:00pm
Edith and Myrtle

Myrtle: Oh Edie, this Christmas shopping …

Edith: You should make Paddy do some of it. With all the grandkids you’ve got to buy for.

Myrtle: Paddy? Hmph. He’d be running up to the mall on Christmas Eve, and I’d be stuck wrapping it all until dawn.

Edith: You do far too much, dear.

Myrtle: (pats Edith on the knee) That’s all right. I wanted to buy you a new pair of shoes anyway.

Edith: (smiles at Myrtle) You just want to see that hottie in the shoe store again.

Myrtle winks.

Edith: At least neither of us will run out of shoes for a while.

Both titter.

Andrea and Lacey

Andrea: So my mom’s got this new boyfriend, right?

Lacey: Again?

Andrea: What do you mean, again? She hasn’t had one in, like, a month. Anyways, he comes over last night, and he’s, like, completely shitfaced, right?

Lacey: No!

Andrea: So yeah, so he’s, like, staggering all over the place, and he just got out of his car. He comes in and he says to me, “You know, you’re even better-looking than your mom.” And I’m like, “EW, how can you say that with my mom just standing there?”

Lacey: No way!

Andrea: Exactly, right? But my mom just laughed it off. She wanted to go to this restaurant where they had, like, this reservation?

Lacey: That’s …

Andrea: Incredible, right? My mom’s like such a crazy bitch.

Lacey: She really is!

Andrea: Well she’s not THAT crazy. At least she drove.

Maurice: Oh oh. What’s up?

Stuart: Well, I was supposed to have caught the six o’clock today, but I slept in.

Maurice: All the way to six in the evening?

Stuart: (nods) Uh huh. Had one wicked headache this afternoon, so I went to lay down. Then I started having this nightmare. I couldn’t breathe!

Maurice: It was only a nightmare though, right?

Stuart: Nope. Damned cat was laying on my face. So I pushed it off, as you do, and it mustn’t have liked that very much.

Maurice: No?

Stuart: Nuh uh. It jumped out in front of me as I was walking to the bathroom, I fell over: cracked my head on the door jam.

Maurice: No way!

Stuart: Yep. Just woke up.

Maurice: Wait, didn’t you say you slept in?

Stuart: Yep. Cat peed on the rug again. Slept in cat piss for oh (looks at watch) a good couple hours.
